RSS-RS #9: Luigi Nardi presenting
2019-11-12
I would like to cordially invite you all to our 9th slightly extended Research Seminar to be held on
Tuesday, November 12th, 15:15 - 16:30 (approximately) in E:2116
(RSS-members, note the change in time and space ;-)
In the seminar, Luigi Nardi, who joined the RSS-group about six weeks ago as a WASP-AI Assistant Professor, will give an overview of his research in the area of black-box optimisation, or more general, high-performance computing.
Luigi’s career path has taken him through various places and areas of research and work, e.g., the Univ Pierre et Marie Curie and CNAM, Paris, as well as the company Murex S.A.S. in France, Imperial College in London, UK, and finally, before joining us here in Lund, Stanford. Equally spread out are the application areas of his research, ranging from domain specific languages through robotics applications like high performance robot vision and SLAM to FPGA design optimisation for machine learning applications.
Welcome!
